Lisa
Wolford, Co-owner/Broker
lisa@orcasislandrealty.com
Lisa’s expertise in the real estate market has grown rapidly through her high volume of sales and listings in the last decade, and is complemented by her 18 years of experience in living and doing business on Orcas. Prior to her arrival, Lisa received a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design from San Francisco State University, completed course work towards a second degree in Marine Biology at California State University at Long Beach and earned her California real estate license. After moving to Orcas she helped run a successful contracting company, gaining a broad understanding of the large and small details of home construction and the most effective ways to work through the construction process. Since devoting herself full-time to island real estate in 2001 and taking over Orcas island Realty in 2003, she has settled into being one of the top agents on Orcas Island. Lisa has applied her solid negotiating skills and her deep appreciation of Orcas to each of her transactions. Her diverse interests and her breadth of experience provide her with a unique perspective of the islands, which she enjoys sharing with clients.

A second-generation realtor, Mary grew up in the islands and settled on Orcas to raise her family. A real estate professional since 1993, she is a consistent top producer, demonstrating high proficiency, outstanding contract skill, and attention to detail. She studied economics and art history at Whitman College, and did her master’s work at Sotheby’s London, USC and UW. Her academic and practical exposure to the art world makes her uniquely adept at identifying homes that match her clients’ aesthetic preferences, and is one of the reasons she serves as the exclusive San Juan Islands authorized agent for 360 Modern. Mary worked in the business and nonprofit worlds for many years and has served on numerous community non-profit boards and committees, applying this business and communications experience to her real estate practice. Mary became co-owner of Orcas Island Realty in 2006.
Marty Zier, Associate Broker
marty@orcasislandrealty.com
As a second-generation Orcas realtor, Marty’s island roots run deep. He attended high school in nearby Anacortes and attended Skagit Valley College prior to receiving his Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a minor in U.S. History from Cal State Northridge. The irresistible draw of the region brought him back to the Northwest, where he settled on Orcas and began his real estate career in 1993. Prior to joining Orcas Island Realty in 2008, Marty served as owner/broker for 11 years at the local John L. Scott office, where he was consistently recognized as one of the company’s top producers, earning multiple awards and honors within the organization. When not helping clients buy and sell homes and property, Marty enjoys the abundance that defines and surrounds Orcas Island.
